I often get messages from people asking if I have any hedgehogs available.
We usually do not.
The reason is because we usually plan our litters according to how many people are interested in babies at that time. So any babies we have are typically spoken for before they're even born.
Waiting for a baby hedgehog is not a process that takes an eternity. From conception to going home time is about 3 months total. This gives adopters time to get all the necessary supplies, to get their set up together, etc. Not to mention, once the wait list picks their baby, they get a ton of baby pics. Because I LOVE TAKING PICTURES!! Especially of baby hedgehogs!!! Videos are fun to do, too. And I don't mind doing them. I know I love getting them when I am getting a new animal. I love watching them grow. I feel like everyone should get to see that process as much as possible.
If you're interested in a baby hedgehog for your family for the holidays, we have 2 more spots available on our current waitlist. Then it will be closed until after babies are born and we have a headcount! Fill out the application here and mention wanting to be on the waitlist!
